As technological advancements accelerate, convenient and pragmatic lifestyle solutions continue to emerge, notably within the realm of music. The internet has streamlined access, enabling instant acquisition of records from global sources. However, this convenience has also contributed to declining footfall in record stores, resulting in the closure of numerous independent shops. As a component of my diploma project in 2016, I sought to bolster local vinyl retailers in France by conceptualizing Rotate—an app designed to guide users through the diverse record stores within their city.
